GLASS FIBRE CHOPPED STRAND MAT EM 1004 (POWDER BOUND MAT)

EM 1004/300/125 EM 1004/450/125 EM 1004/600/125ел 1002 mat is made of chopped strands and bound with a powder binder. It is manufactured ofE glass containg below 1% of alkalies. It is a good powder bound mat and is characterised by a fast wet-out rate in a non-saturated polyester resin a stable quality and good utility characteristics. EM 1004 Mat is compact, rigid and can be cut on both sides. The laminates manufactured with a share of this mat have a high transparency, good smoothness, good mechanical properties and an increased resistance to atmospheric conditions.
APPLICATION
Powder bound mat EM 1004 is suitable for hot laminating in the mechanised way, but also for making laminates by contact method. It is used for manufacture of glass fibre reinforced products of non-saturated polyester resins. The elements can be large in size but very complicated shapes are not allowed. The mat gives high transparency and good smoothness of the surface. EM 1004 finds its use mostly in the building industry, highway engineering and sea transport.
Powder bound mat EM 1004 complies with the requirements of Standard BN-78/6859-05.

Mat in the form a roll wound on a hardboard tube, 70 mm diameter. The roll is packed into a polyethylene sleeve and then into a cardboard box. The cartons are placed on a wooden pallet 1360У1020 mm. |
